Gourmet Weekend

The Gourmet Weekend, our popular "Sweetheart Weekend" will be held February 22-23, 2008. A unique way to spend time with that special someone working in a professional kitchen. We will have "hands on class" with two great menus. Enjoy a casual supper menu Friday night, and a romantic candlelight dinner menu, including a special Valentine dessert, Saturday night.
Each Gourmet Weekend package includes:

2 nights' accommodations;

Friday night icebreaker
reception featuring discussion of food and wine pairing and tasting
presented by Les Bourgeois Winery vintner;

Cooking lesson and Friday
evening supper;

Saturday sous chef session;

Special vintner's tour of Les
Bourgeois on Saturday;

Final dinner prep class and
multi-course dinner Saturday night.

two nights' lodging-double occupancy is $150 per person plus cost of

Food and Wine Lovers' Weekends
We will also offer an opportunity for groups (8 - 12
participants) to schedule a Food and Wine Lover's Weekend that will include:

Wine and gourmet cheese
reception upon check-in Friday evening;

Special vintner's tour of Les
Bourgeois Winery on Saturday;

Fabulous dinner with
appropriate wines served Saturday evening.

Other Cooking Classes
Also new this year will be two different formats for
individual cooking classes:
Wednesday Evening Classes can be scheduled from
November through April. These 2-hour hands-on sessions will focus on a
special topic or technique.
Lunch & Learn - Get your group together for a fun
cooking demonstration followed by a gourmet lunch.
A group of 8 to 12 participants is required for both these
classes. Many topics and menu choices. Call Dixie for details and to check
